Instructions for Camera-Ready Paper Submission for Accepted Papers

We would like to emphasize that all of the following must be ensured latest by November 7th, 2011, in order for your paper to be included in the conference proceedings. No extensions will be given.

1) The recommended format must be used. Please use the Word / LaTeX templates given below and ensure that:

a) the paper is typeset in 10pt, IEEE double column format,

b) no pictures of the author or biographies appear anywhere in the manuscript,

c) the final manuscript does not exceed 6 pages including all figures and reference

2) IEEE XPlore PDF compliance must be checked at the IEEE PDF Xpress web site, and a proof of this must be provided.

If your file is not Xplore complaint, it will NOT be published and will be removed from the IMSAA 2011 conference proceedings and the IEEE Xplore database. To meet these requirements, you must ensure that your PDF file is compliant by using the IEEE PDF express system before you submit your paper to the EDAS portal.

       Submission Steps:
(a) Please go to the IEEE PDF eXpress site at: http://www.pdf-express.org/ and do the following

First-time users:

Previous users, but using it the first time for a new conference:

Returning users:

a. Click "New Users – Click Here".

a. Enter imsaa11x for the Conference ID, your email address, and enter the password you used for your old account.

a. Enter imsaa11x for the Conference ID, email address and password.

b. Enter imsaa11x for the Conference ID, your email  address, and choose a new password. Continue to enter information as prompted.

b. When you click "Login", you'll receive an error saying you need to set up an account. Simply click "Continue". By entering your previously used email address and password combination, you will enable your old account for access to this new conference.

c. Check that the contact information is still valid, and click "Submit".

c. You will receive online and email confirmation of successful account setup.

b)  For each conference paper, click "Create New Title".

c) Enter identifying text for the paper (title is recommended but not required)

d) Click "Submit PDF for Checking" or "Submit Source Files for Conversion"

e) Indicate platform, source file type (if applicable), click Browse and navigate to file, and click "Upload File". You will receive online and email confirmation of successful upload

f) You will receive an email with your Checked PDF or IEEE PDF eXpress-converted PDF attached. If you submitted a PDF for Checking, the email will show if your file passed or failed.

Submit your IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF

Option 2

Read the PDF Check report, then click "The PDF Check Report" in the sidebar to get information on possible solutions

Submit a PDF by clicking Try again, then Submit PDF for Checking

Option 3

"Request Technical Help" through your account

"Request a Manual Conversion" through your account

(g) In order to prove that PDF Check has been passed, you must forward the confirmation mail received from the IEEE PDF eXpress service to imsaa.conference at gmail [dot] com

3) The camera ready version must be submitted via EDAS Web Site.


4) IEEE copyright form must be submitted. IEEE Copyright Forms for regular, and short papers must be submitted through EDAS.


5) At least one author for each accepted must be registered at the conference at full registration rate. Where an author has more than one accepted paper, he/she has to register for each paper separately.

Mobile broadband, convergence of data and communication networks, and proliferation of smart end-user devices and terminals have sparked many new architectures enabling internet multimedia applications. However, "Any Information, Any Device, Any Location" networked systems still face significant technical challenges including issues related to performance, privacy, security, reliability, scalability, mobility, interoperability, and deployment.

IMSAA-11 is intended to tackle these challenges and will bring together researchers, engineers and practitioners working on the latest issues in internet multimedia systems, architectures and applications.
