Instructions for Camera-Ready Paper Submission for Accepted Papers


We would like to emphasize that all of the following must be ensured lastest by November 6th, 2009, in order for your paper to be included in the conference proceedings. No extensions will be given.

1) The recommended format must be used. Please use the Word / LaTeX templates given below and ensure that:

a) the paper is typeset in 10pt, IEEE double column format,

b) no pictures of the author or biographies appear anywhere in the manuscript,

c) the final manustrcipt does not exceed 6 pages including all figures and references

 

Also, the following Copyright Clearance Center (CCC) code must be placed on the bottom, left-hand side of the first page of each paper:

For papers in which all authors are employed by a Crown government (UK, Canada, Australia), the notice is:

For Latex users, the CCC code can be added using the following:
1. First, use package command: \usepackage{eso-pic}
2. Then, use the following command (everything in one line): \AddToShipoutPicture*{\small \sffamily\raisebox{1.8cm}{\hspace{1.8cm}978-1-4244-4793-0/09/\$25.00 \copyright2009 IEEE}}

In case you are missing the everyshi.sty style-file, you may download it here.

2) IEEE XPlore PDF compliance must be checked at the IEEE PDF Xpress web site, and a proof of this must be provided.

If your file is not Xplore complaint, it will NOT be published and will be removed from the IMSAA 2009 conference proceedings and the IEEE Xplore database. To meet these requirements, you must ensure that your PDF file is compliant by using the IEEE PDF express system before you submit your paper to the EDAS portal.

Guidelines:

i. Please go to the IEEE PDF eXpress site at:http://www.pdf-express.org/
ii. Click on the link "New Users - Click Here" and fill in your information. You will need the Conference ID which is: imsaa09x

For any assistance regarding PDF eXpress, please click on the following link: http://www.pdf-express.org/frhelp.asp

In order to prove that PDF Check has been passed, you must forward the confirmation mail received from the IEEE PDF eXpress service to emmelmann [at] tkn.tu-berlin.de.

3) The camera ready version must be submitted via EDAS Web Site.

4) IEEE copyright form must be submitted.

An IEEE Copyright Form must be submitted for each paper. You can download an IEEE Copyright Form at the following URL: http://www.ieee.org/web/publications/rights/copyrightmain.html. Fill in the paper information, sign the form, and submit it according to the following instructions.

Signed IEEE Copyright Forms for regular, and short papers must be submitted through EDAS.

5) At least one author for each accepted must be registered at the conference at full registration rate. Where an author has more than one accepted paper, he/she has to register for each paper separately.

      Paper Submission Format: Papers must be submitted in IEEE format (.pdf file). The EDAS Website for Paper Submission.  

      Paper for review: Double-column, 10pt IEEE format and no longer than 6 pages (including all figures and references).

      Camera ready paper: It will be in double-column, IEEE format, but in 10 pt font, and no longer than 6 pages (including all figures and references). Detailed instructions will be given after the accepted papers announcement.

      The selected Papers by TPC will be published in IEEE Xplore digital library.

      IMPORTANT DATES
      Last date for paper submission:                               18th August 2009 (EST, USA)
      Paper review notification:                                         20th October 2009
      Last and final date for camera ready submission:       6th November 2009

      ** Students with accepted paper will be provided free accommodation at IIIT-Bangalore campus,subject to availability.
